Slow Dopa Magazine is seeking submissions by writers, dreamers, thinkers, theologists, ecologists, poets, artists, illustrators and photographers. The magazine explores how myth, spiritual inquiry, mysticism, and understanding our connection to nature, particularly seen through art, poetry and storytelling, sustains, and is vital to, the human experience. We are interested in conversations and stories exploring mythologies & spiritual practices of all traditions.
If you have a story to tell via essay, interview, poem, journalism, short and flash fiction, myth interpretation, philosophical perspectives, visual artworks, illustrations and photography - we are keen to consider all works.
The purpose is to inspire, seek out beauty, consider our role in the natural world, invoke spiritual inquiry and devotion and evaluate how these can support humans in a world rapidly losing connection.
Slow Dopa takes the form of a printed magazine intentionally to bring focus, tactile response, engagement in long form content and to be liberated from algorithms. It's writing is Ai free.
